Concert Series in Minneapolis

It's Thanksgiving week and I'm playing on a very special series of concerts with the Minnesota Orchestra.

The program is a recreation of a 1905 concert. Here is a wonderful link celebrating a marvelous orchestra.

Liszt's Hungarian Rhapsody No. 3 is on the program, and I'm playing the cimbalom part.

Osmo Vänskä is the conductor--one of the most widely praised maestros in recent years. It's easy to see and hear why this is so.

I play with many orchestras--and this is one of my favorites, they are more concerned about making good music than anything else. It's a very friendly bunch too. This is my fifth series of concerts with them. I have also played under conductors Edo de Waart , Stanislav Skrowaczewski, Gilbert Varga, and Kent Nagano.
